About Elaine Orr, PhD

Elaine received her PhD in Education Administration, MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, and her BA in the Biological Sciences from the University of New Orleans.

• She has been teaching in one form or another since 1973
• Currently she is teaching classes at Our Lady of Holy Cross College where she teaches
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Stress Management
  • Holistic Health
• She is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher through the Temple of Kriya Yoga, Chicago, IL teaching several group classes throughout the Greater New Orleans area as well as private clients
• She has trained as a Basic Thai Yoga Therapist through an association with the Institute of Thai Massage
• She is a Respiratory Therapist, licensed in the state of Louisiana
